The Phoenix Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a sisterhood of college educated women committed to intentionally serving our community through service, scholarship, and social action. Our service area spans Maricopa county and includes: Avondale, Buckeye, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Goodyear, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Surprise, Tempe & Tolleson.  Our collective strength to serve and support this vast service area is rooted in Christian principles which we are founded upon and which we endeavor to live every day. 

In line with our Grand Chapter, we are committed to intentionally affecting change and serving our community through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

As an international organization with a global and local impact, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. boasts over 350,000 members and 1000 chapters worldwide. Founded on January 13, 1913 on the campus of Howard University by twenty-two college educated women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority chartered a course to change the world through public service. Always at the forefront of transformation and revolution, our first public service act was the Women’s Suffrage March. One hundred and ten years later we are still leading the charge to improve conditions, fortify our culture, and enhance circumstances that positively impact the black community.
